Sandwiches are a favorite of mine, and I occasionally indulge. To keep it light, I create a half-sandwich using:
3 slices of chicken or turkey breast
Half a slice of pepper jack cheese for a spicy kick
One slice of low-calorie whole grain bread (around 60 calories) cut into 2 halves
Toasting the bread and warming the meat enhances the flavor.
Add a thick egg white layer, which provides additional protein that can keep me feeling full.
I purchase white egg liquid that can be stored in the refrigerator. Liquid egg whites are a convenient protein source, eliminating the mess of cracking eggs.
I believe in mindful eating and tailoring meals to individual needs. While I focus on low-calorie options due to my lifestyle, my more active children enjoy whole eggs in their sandwiches and omelets.
Salt and pepper to taste

3 slices of chicken or turkey breast
